A mosquito net impregnated with a contact insecticide provides additional protection against stinging insects. The insects cannot sting through the net. Small openings in the net will not allow the insect to strike.
A regular impregnated mosquito net is optimally effective for about 6 months with continuous use. This durability depends, among other things, on the effect of sunlight, the effect of moisture and wear due to packing and unpacking.
A DAWA impregnated net, such as this type, is effective up to five times longer than regular impregnation and can be washed up to 20 times.
