The German Navy peacoat is a classic that belongs in every wardrobe.
This particular affordable model is made of 50% wool and 50% viscose and is fully lined with 100% polyester (80g/qm). The double row of gold buttons, with anchor design, two side pockets, an inside pocket and a slit at the back complete the peak peacoat look.
Typical of this timeless garment - which has its origins in the navy - are the large lapels, the double row of buttons and the back that is just long enough to keep your backside warm, but at the same time sufficiently short (or was) to climb aboard a ship.
The peacock was mentioned in American newspapers as early as 1720. And to this day, this stylish jacket remains very popular for its versatility, comfort and protection against harsh weather conditions.
