The Sea to Summit Side Release Field Repair Buckle allows you to repair a broken buckle easily and durably - simply with a screwdriver. Choose from different widths (15 mm to 50 mm) and with one or two pins, so it fits your backpack, drybag or outdoor equipment exactly.
The buckle itself is made of sturdy plastic, while the pins are made of stainless steel. The one-pin type is adjustable thanks to the ladder lock, ideal for customised rucksacks, chest straps, shopping bags or camping gear. The two-pin version is perfect for fixed closures, such as for drybag roll-tops or waist belts that should not slip.
Usage tips:
- Measure webbing width before purchase - buckles come in 15 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, 38 mm and 50 mm.
- Wipe the pin clean, lift it loose with a Phillips screwdriver, swap the buckles and tighten it again.
- For maximum security, you can use a little Locktite Blue on the threads.
