Merino is the wool of the fine wool sheep breed, which has been made softer, more durable and protected from shrinkage by a special treatment.
The strengths of merino wool
- Insulating - warms up when cold and cools down when warm.
- Does not scratch: the elastic fibres of merino wool flex when in contact with the skin, so there is no itching.
- Odour neutrality for days thanks to natural wool fat (lanolin)
- Polyamide reinforcement on toe and heel
- 100% filament polypropylene filling
- The merino wool used is mule-free.
