Detergent for down materials, essential for keeping your gear in top condition.
Down Wash cleans down materials such as clothing and sleeping bags, keeps the down fresh and soft, prevents clumping and restores the layer of fat. The down-filled material retains its airiness and ventilation, provided you follow the instructions for use below.
Instructions for use: shake bottle well and clear the wash basin well of detergents. Put 50 ml of down wash (for 1 garment) and approx. 125 ml for 1 sleeping bag in the wash tank and select a 30° wash programme for delicate fabrics. Always consult the washing instructions on the fabric label first! For hand washing, use 50 ml. to approx. 25 litres of water. Tip: attach one sleeve or leg to another to avoid "turning inside out ". Close zips or velcro during treatment. Rinse extra to remove detergents completely. Centrifuge until material is dripping dry. Or if using a tumble dryer, use the lowest temperature and add an old tennis shoe or tennis balls to evenly distribute the down. Then lay on a drying rack and shake regularly to distribute the down evenly.
